Planning tool

A simple roofing budget range tool before the inspection.

This is not a quote. It is a planning range that helps owners understand how roof size, material, project type, and access affect budget conversations.

Choose the roof type and project details below. The planning range only appears once enough valid selections are made.

Not a quote. Final pricing requires a roof walk. Tear-off, decking, access, drainage, material, permits, penetrations, repairs, pitch, height, and coastal exposure can change the scope.

Financing available

Financing may be available for qualifying projects.

Use the planning range as a starting point, then ask SunCraft about payment options during the inspection.

How this estimator works

Why the range is wide.

Roofing pricing comes from the actual roof, not from a slider. The planning range here is on purpose conservative: it assumes typical conditions, common materials, and a clean tear-off scope. A real inspection narrows the number once roof condition, drainage, deck, and access are known.

01

Roof size

Approximate square footage drives most of the planning range, but pitch, height, and access can shift the number.

02

Material

Shingle, tile, TPO, PVC, torch down, metal, and coatings sit at different unit prices and labor profiles.

03

Project type

A full replacement, a targeted repair, a restoration coating, and a maintenance visit are completely different scopes.

04

Complexity

Two stories, steep slopes, hillside lots, parapet walls, and premium details all add labor and protection.
